Life In The Desert

Hubby and I visited the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument while in Arizona. It is basically right on the border of Mexico. We went on a self guided tour of the park and took some pictures of the various plant life in the park. The desert was amazingly alive with color and life. Just wanted to share some of the pictures.

  1. Really cool park. In my opinion even better than the Grand Canyon. Next year somewhere hotter.

  2. I think what made it so cool was that we could get close up to everything. At the Grand Canyon we were at the top looking down.

    Thanks for commenting!

  3. Beautiful pics! I've seen a documentary on a desert when it comes alive after a bit of rain (I forget the locale), it was amazing!
Hmm - Saguara cactus, something I want to see in real life! ;-)
